The men's and women's track & field squad traveled to San Diego Mesa to compete in the SoCal Prelims on Saturday, May 5. Six athletes will move on to compete in the SoCal Finals next week on Saturday, May 5.

Sophomore Sherrice Pelle took tenth overall in the 200 meter dash with a time of 25.68. Pelle also placed sixth in the 100 meter hurdles with a 15.07.

Sophomore Erin Wilber qualified to move on to the finals next week in the finals in the high jump.

Freshman Tylor Wallace also moves on by taking eighth place in the 800 meter run with a 1:57.12. Wallace also placed seventh in the 1500 meter run with a 4:03.67. 

Moises Marquez, Jarrod Amyx, and Nicole Adams will all be competing next week at San Diego Mesa in the SoCal Finals in the 5k and the discus.
