The Vikings Track & Field team has three individual qualifiers and the women's relay teams advancing to the 3C2A State Championships this weekend at Modesto College.

Jeremiah Artis took sixth in the long jump with a 6.95-meter mark to qualify him to the next level, while Kathryn Tamminga took third in the 400 Hurdles (1:03.77) and Casey Davis took third in the shot put with a 12.65-meter mark.

Davis was the 2022 State Champion in the Shot Put and All-American with a 41'11. Also at the 2022 State Championships, the women's 4x400 relay (Taj Grant, Destinee Reid, Radiance Lindsey, Natalie Mejia) placed third with a time of 4:01.12 to earn team All-American honors.
