Over the weekend, seven Vikings competed at the 3C2A State Championships at Modesto College. The women's team took 21st overall in the standings. 

Here are the highlights of the 3C2A State Championships:

• 2022 State Champion Casey Davis took sixth place in the Shot Put with an 11.64-meter mark.
• Freshman Kathryn Tamminga placed fourth in the 400 Hurdles with a time of 1:03.97, earning All-American Honors.
• The women's 4 x 100 relay (Radiance Lindsey, Destinee Reid, Kathryn Tamminga, Morgan Venable) took sixth with a 48.99 time.
• The women's 4 x 400 relay (Radiance Lindsey, Destinee Reid, Bra'Nya Richson, Kathryn Tamminga) also took sixth place with a 3:59.21 time.
• Freshman Jeremiah Artis placed eleventh in the Long Jump with a 6.59-meter mark.

The Track and Field team will return next season.
