Vikings Track & Field Perform at Ron Kamaka Open
The Vikings had numerous standout performances during the meet.

The Vikings Track & Field squads journeyed to the 2nd Annual Ron Kamaka Open held at Mt. San Antonio College over the weekend. While team scores weren't tallied, numerous standout performances were notable during the event. Check out the individual highlights below:
Women
- Women's 4x100 meter relay (Amareah Hamilton, Morgan Venable, Sa'Mir Braccey, Aniyah Wyche) opened with a State 'A' Standard, current SoCal Regional Leading time of 49.13 seconds.
- Mia Jamerson sets a new lifetime best in the women's triple jump with a current State Leading Mark of 11.35 meters (37'3").
- Amareah Hamilton hits the State 'A' Standard in the women's 100-meter hurdles with a season-best time of 15.27 seconds.
- Aniyah Wyche hits the State 'B' Standard in the women's 100 meters with a season-best time of 12.39 seconds.
- Women's 4x400 meter relay (Amareah Hamilton, Morgan Venable, Danika Hunter, Aniyah Wyche) opened with a State 'B' Standard with a time of 4:18.47.
- Morgan Venable opens with a lifetime best in the women's 400 meters with a time of 1:00.90. Venable later hits another lifetime best in the women's 200 meters with a time of 26.09 seconds.
- Natalie Paredes tosses a season-best throw of 10.65 (34'11") in the women's shot put.
Men
- Men's 4x100 meter relay (Kai Lauderdale, Jeremiah Artis, David Garcia, Justin Auston) opened with a State 'B' Standard with a time of 42.81 seconds.
- Roosevelt Grier opens the season with a new lifetime best in the Men's Javelin with a toss of 46.27 meters (151'10").
- Kai Lauderdale runs a season-best time of 22.11 seconds in the men's 200-meters.
- Luke Chibueze opens the season with a time of 1:58.05 in the men's 800 meters.
- Jai Banks-Chambers opens the season with a mark of 13.37 meters (43'11") in the men's triple jump.
- Jeremiah Artis opens the season with a mark of 13.30 (43'8") in the men's triple jump.
