Track & Field Advance to the State Championships
Over the weekend, the Track & Field teams clinched seventh place at the 3C2A SoCal Regional Finals.
Over the weekend, both the Men's and Women's teams clinched seventh place at the 3C2A SoCal Regional Finals. The Vikings showcased their expertise with numerous medalists, as seven women and three men secured spots in the upcoming 3C2A State Championships next Saturday at Saddleback College. Check out the list of individual medalists and the official results below:
Women:
• Mia Jamerson takes 3rd in the Long Jump and Triple Jump *State Qualifier
• Aniyah Wyche takes 3rd in the 100m and 200m *State Qualifier
• Amareah Hamilton takes 3rd in the 100m hurdles *State Qualifier
• Saryah Harris-Davis takes 4th in the Shot Put *State Qualifier
• Simone Terry takes 8th in the Triple Jump
• Women's 4x100m Relay (Morgan Venable, Amareah Hamilton, Sa'Mir Braccey, Aniyah Wyche) takes 4th *State Qualifier
• Women's 4x400m Relay (Morgan Venable, Amareah Hamilton, Alona Washington, Aniyah Wyche) takes 6th
Men:
• Luke Chibueze takes 4th in the 800m *State Qualifier
• Jeremiah Artis takes 4th in the Long Jump *State Qualifier
• Devarriea Oles takes 6th in the 110m and 400m Hurdles *State Qualifier
• Men's 4x100m Relay (Kai Lauderdale, Jeremiah Artis, Devarriea Oles, David Garcia) takes 5th
• Men's 4x400m Relay (Franklyn Taylor, Luke Chibueze, Devarriea Oles, Justin Auston) takes 7th
