Long Beach Demonstrates Impressive Performances at State Championships
At the 3C2A State Championships, the men's team finished 12th while the women's team secured 10th place.

At the 3C2A State Championships, the men's team finished 12th while the women's team secured 10th place. Several athletes earned top honors, distinguishing themselves with All-American and All-State performances.
All-American Honorees (Top 4 Finishes):
- Mia Jamerson: 2nd place in the Women's Triple Jump with a leap of 38'1".
- Devarriea Oles: 3rd place in the Men's 400m Hurdles with a time of 53.23 seconds.
- Saryah Harris-Davis: 4th place in the Women's Shot Put with a throw of 40'3".
All-State Honorees (Top 8 Finishes):
Individual Events:
- Mia Jamerson: 5th place in the Women's Long Jump with a distance of 18'2".
- Amareah Hamilton: 5th place in the Women's 100m Hurdles with a time of 14.80 seconds.
- Luke Chibueze: 6th place in the Men's 800m with a time of 1:55.03.
- Aniyah Wyche: 7th place in the Women's 100m with a time of 12.07 seconds.
- Jeremiah Artis: 8th place in the Men's Long Jump with a jump of 22'7".
- Devarriea Oles: 5th place in the Men's 110m Hurdles.
Team Events:
- The Women's 4x100m relay team, consisting of Morgan Venable, Amareah Hamilton, Sa'Mir Braccey, and Aniyah Wyche, finished 6th with a time of 48.16 seconds.
The Vikings Track & Field teams will return to the track in Spring 2025.
