The Vikings jumped all over the Rams from the opening tip and led 28-13 after the first quarter. LBCC harassed Victor Valley into seven turnovers in the first period alone. Aaliyah Carter and Ariana Grimes combined for 15 points and 10 rebounds in building a 52-31 lead at halftime.

Amanda Lopez (SO/Legacy, CA) had quite the night to open the season home-opener, as she dropped 22 points, 13 assists, 9 rebound, 7 steals, and two blocks for the game.  She shot 6-for-14 from the field and 10- for 12 from the free-throw line. Sierra Hill (FR/Long Beach, CA) came off the bench and was 7-for-16 from the floor and 7-for-10 from the free-throw line, totaling 21 points.  She made her presence felt with her transition offense, as she came away with six rebounds and four assists. Jaden Sanderson (SO/West Torrance, CA) made 17 points and notched eight rebounds as well, delivering a strong start to her first LBCC home game. The Vikings bookended a 11-0 run with three in a row, three-point shots from Bra'Nya Richson (SO/Dorsey, CA) to finish the game.
