Title: Assistant Coach

Riki Harada returns for his 11th season in 2020 as a member of the LBCC coaching staff. Harada has been an assistant coach at LBCC for the past 10 years. In those 10 years the Vikings went 184-101, with 4 South Coast South conference titles and 8 CCCAA playoff appearances. Harada helped with running daily practices, scouting opposing teams, and developing individual skill work.

Harada was at Magnolia High School 7 years before coming to LBCC. While at Magnolia, he was an assistant coach to both the boys and girls varsity teams. In those 7 years, they won 7 girls Orange league titles, and 1 boys Orange league title. The girls also made 2 CIF Southern Section playoff games, won 1 CIF Regional title, and made 1 CIF State Championship Final. He was also the head coach in various seasons for the 2 lower level girls and boys teams.
 
Harada also volunteers at his local church, OCBC. He has coached a girls high school team that participates in the SEYO league for the last 10 years.
As a player, Harada attended Magnolia High School, and graduated there in 2004.
