The Long Beach City College women's soccer team put up a season-high seven goals while the defense was just a tough as the Vikings cruised to a 7-0 South Coast Conference win at El Camino College Compton Center on Tuesday.

Freshman Jennifer Abarca (pictured) scored a hat-trick with three goals to lead Long Beach. Freshman Ashley Lopez scored twice, while freshmen Anna Gonzalez and Cynthia Rico both had one goal and an assist each.

Sophomore defenders Marissa Macias and Priscilla Perez both earned two assists, with freshman Hanna Hermansson also assisting on a goal.

Sophomore goalkeeper Jeanette DeAnda and the LBCC defense posted its ninth shutout of the season.

Long Beach, now 10-5-4 overall and 6-3-4 in the SCC, closes out the regular-season at El Camino College on Friday (Nov. 9) at 5 p.m.

The Vikings will look to go out with a win before a possible berth in the Southern California Regional Playoffs that get underway on November 15.
