Sophomores Liliana Montano (Lakewood HS) and Rocio Hernandez (Warren HS) as well as freshman Brenda Reyes (Hawthorne HS) head a list of seven members of the 2013 Long Beach City College women's soccer team that earned South Coast Conference postseason honors.

Montano, Hernandez, and Reyes captured first-team All-SCC honors, while a trio of Viking defenders in sophomore Jennifer Abarca (Warren HS) and freshmen Noemi Vasquez (Wilson HS) and Sydney Castillo (Palo Verde HS) were second team selections. Freshman forward Yasmyn Andrade (Delray, FL) rounds out the list as she was an honorable mention pick.

Montano ended the season tied for second on the team with 12 points and led LBCC with six assists to go with three goals. Hernandez and Reyes both totaled 10 points on three goals and four assists.

Under co-head coach Alex Camargo and Sean Reeves, Long Beach closed the season with a 12-7-2 overall record. LBCC finished third in the conference standings with an 8-4-2 mark and made its third straight postseason appearance. Long Beach has qualified for the playoffs in 13 of the past 14 seasons.
