Freshman Savannah Christensen (Lakewood HS) scored two goals and added two assists to help lead the Long Beach City College women's soccer team to a 5-0 South Coast Conference win at El Camino College Compton Center. The victory snapped a four-game winless streak and improved the Vikings to 7-4-4 overall and 4-2-3 in SCC play.

Not to be outdone, sophomore Joanna Perone (San Pedro HS) scored consecutive goals, her team-leading fifth and sixth of the season, in the 53rd and 68th minutes off assists from Christensen. Sophomore Lizbeth Reyes (Millikan HS) closed out the scoring with her goal in the 88th minute thanks to freshman Miranda Kaekul's (John Burroughs HS) second assist of the contest.
Sophomore Isabella Reynoso (Lakewood HS) played all 90 minutes in goal and posted four saves for the Vikings' sixth shutout of the season.
Long Beach returns to action on Friday (Oct. 30) when the Vikings travel to El Camino College for a SCC game.
