The women's soccer team fell to the Cerritos College Falcons 2-0 in their final home game of the season. The Vikings are now 8-7-5 overall and 5-2 in the South Coast Conference.

Freshman Angelique Anguiano was a force in the cage in her debut as goalkeeper for the Vikings. Anguiano totaled five tremendous saves in ninety minutes of work.

The Vikings battled with the Falcons the entire first half. The two teams competed defensively with their powerful backlines. In the second half, Cerritos knocked in their first goal at the 62 minute mark. Their second goal came in final five extra minutes to seal the heart-breaking win.

The women's soccer team will play again on Saturday, Nov. 11 at Cerritos College at 3 p.m. to make up the rescheduled game from Oct. 10.
