The women's soccer team fell to the East Los Angeles College 4-1. With the loss, the Vikings drop to 6-5-1 overall.
The Vikings fought hard against the Huskies, but weren't able to keep up. East Los Angeles College scored the first two goals within the first 15 minutes of the game.
The Vikings then scored their only goal with freshman forward Quinn Trowbridge behind the ball and freshman defender Madilyn Engel on the assist. Freshman forward Allison Casillas had two shots, while Trowbridge had a career high of seven shots on goal.
The Vikings will be play again on Friday Oct. 19 at Rio Hondo at 2 p.m.
