The Long Beach City College women's soccer fell to the No. 1 Cerritos College Falcons 6-0 in their final home game on Friday afternoon. The Vikings end their season 9-10-1 and 5-3 in conference action.
In the first half, freshman goalkeeper Sara Larios stopped the Falcons penalty goal kick with a big block to the left side to start the game.
The Vikings had three shots on the Cerritos cage, but were unable to complete. Defender Alyssa Pyle came into sub in the second half as the Viking goalkeeper and had seven big saves off 10 shots on goal.
The Vikings will return next season.
