The Vikings women's soccer team dominated the Miramar College Jets with an 8-0 win on Friday afternoon. With the win, the Vikings advance to 4-0 overall.
Forward Diana Leon was the standout on the field as she scored four goals against the Jets. Forward Genesis Lopez slammed in two goals, while forward Evelyn Sandoval and midfielder Aimee McSparren each tallied one to the scoreboard. Sandoval and midfielder Alyssa Rivas also both rung up two assists each to propel the Vikings over the Jets.
The Long Beach City College soccer team will return to the field on Tuesday, Sept. 13 against Mt. San Jacinto College at 2 p.m.
