The women's soccer team remains undefeated with a 4-0 record as they took down College of the Canyons with a 6-0 shutout win on Tuesday afternoon.
The Vikings' offense consisted of Genesis Lopez scoring twice, while Josefina English, Evelyn Sandoval, Hannah Marshall, and Lluvia Mariscal all scored one goal each. Lopez currently resides 6th on the state leaderboard for 7 goals on the season so far.
As a whole, the Vikings took 20 shots on the Cougars, with 9 of them on target. Goalkeepers Leila Saldic and Veronica Salcido split the game and recorded two saves to keep the Cougars out of the net.
The Vikings are going to be back on the turf on Friday, Sept. 15 at Santa Monica College at 1:30 p.m.
