No. 5 Women’s Soccer Tie No. 3 Chaffey 1-1

The No. 5 women's soccer team had a heart-wrenching 1-1 tie against No. 3 Chaffey College on Tuesday afternoon. With the tie, the Vikings are 5-0-3 overall.

"Today was a tough pill to swallow. We played one of our best games, against one of the best opponents we've faced all season, and for 80 min; deserved to win the game," said Head Coach Eduardo Nunes. "We didn't finish a few opportunities and we allowed them to gain momentum in the last ten minutes. The bright side is that we haven't lost yet, we are gaining some valuable experience and learning some hard lessons."

The Vikings will return to the field on Tuesday, Oct. 3 at 2 p.m. for their first South Coast Conference game against Los Angeles City College.
