“Building upon the club’s most recent accomplishments, I am excited to welcome Agustin 'Tino' Nunez as our new Women's Head Soccer Coach at Long Beach City College. Tino brings a wealth of experience both as a player and a coach, along with a history of success, that makes him an ideal choice to continue our winning tradition. Following our consecutive South Division Conference Championships, a Conference Tournament win, and an Elite Eight appearance, with only four losses in the past two seasons, I am confident that Tino will lead our program to even greater achievements. The entire women's soccer coaching staff, particularly former Head Coach Eduardo Nunes, deserves a great deal of credit for the team's perseverance, commitment, and hard work throughout the previous six seasons," said Director of Athletics Kal Stewart. Eddie and company guided our teams to impressive records in the three seasons since we returned to play from the pandemic, providing solid leadership during a difficult and uncertain time in the lives of our student-athletes.”
