The Vikings claimed the top spot, securing their second championship win in the last three years.
In an exhilarating showdown at the South Coast Conference Championship, the Women's Swim Team claimed the top spot, securing their second championship win in the last three years and marking the program's fourth triumph in conference history. The men's team demonstrated their prowess as well, securing a commendable second place.
Olivia Slavens emerged as a standout performer for LBCC, showcasing her incredible skill by clinching victories in both the 50-meter (clocking in at 25 seconds flat) and 100-meter freestyle events (with an impressive time of 53.79 seconds), while narrowly missing out on the top spot in the 200-meter freestyle.
Slavens proved to be a crucial asset in relay events, serving as the anchor in three exhilarating victories for the Vikings. Teaming up with Isabella Shead, Skylar Dose, and Allison Knapp, she propelled the squad to triumph in the 800-meter freestyle relay (finishing in a swift 8 minutes and 9.30 seconds) and the 400-meter freestyle relay (with a time of 3 minutes and 37.23 seconds).
