Volleyball on Eight-Game Winning Streak
The women’s volleyball team defeated LA Harbor in their second South Coast Conference game on Friday night in the Hall of Champions with a 3-0 sweep.

The women's volleyball team defeated LA Harbor in their second South Coast Conference game on Friday night in the Hall of Champions with a 3-0 sweep. With the conference win, the Vikings remain undefeated in conference with a 2-0 record, and hold a 13-2 overall record.
The Vikings won by the set scores of 25-17, 25-12, 25-14.
Sophomore outside hitter Jessica Blakeman led the Vikings with 14 kills to help hold a strong offense against the Seahawks. Freshman setter Kaitlyn Peterson was a force on the serve as she nailed four service aces for Long Beach.
Sophomore middle blocker Elsa Woods was relentless as she held a .462 kill percentage along with eight kills, five digs and one block assists.
Freshman setter Levila Iosua and sophomore setter Sierra Davis were in total control and dialed in as they each held over 14 assists.
The Vikings brought in the conference win with ease and will play again on Wednesday, Oct. 10 at Cerritos College at 6 p.m.
