Vikings Flawless in Conference Action With 3-0 Win Over Seahawks

The No. 14 Long Beach City College Vikings defeated the LA Harbor Seahawks in a 3-0 sweep to remain undefeated in conference action. With the win, the Vikings advance to 12-5 overall and 7-0 in conference play.

Freshmen outside hitters Callissa Candalot and Tiara Moseby were the stars of the show as they led the team with 10 kills each. Candalot was powerful at the net as she averaged a .562 kill percentage and totaled four digs and had two blocks assists. Moseby held her own as she had one service ace and totaled 13 digs.

Sophomore setter Lexi Randolph was the catalyst behind the ball as she had 31 assists for the Vikings and sophomore outside hitter Brooke Earkman was an asset on offense by smashing eight powerful kills against the Seahawks.

The Vikings will be back in action at home on Wednesday, Oct. 16 against No. 16 El Camino College at 6 p.m. in the Building Q Gym.
