Compton, CA -- The Vikings (7-5) took to the hardwood against the Tartars (0-4) in Compton on Friday, with just press and limited spectators in attendance.. Eager to bounce back after a defeat at Mt. SAC, Long Beach dominated the match from start to finish, winning in straight sets (25-6, 25-4, 25-6).
Long Beach opened up the first set with a commanding 8-3 lead. Never surrendering that lead, the Vikings went on to win the first set 25-6. LBCC clearly outmatched the Tartars, winning the second set 25-4. To finish things off, the Lady Vikings won the third and final set 25-6.
The Vikings host El Camino on Friday, October 8 at 6:00 PM.
