The Long Beach City College women's volleyball team fell to the College of the Canyons Cougars 0-3 on Wednesday evening in the Building Q Gym.
The Vikings fought hard as they lost the first two sets 13-25 and 14-25, but they came back in the third set to only drop by four points at 21-25.
Outside hitter Danika Iosua was the offensive leader with 10 kills, and outside hitter Caleyse Saunders was right behind her with eight.
The Vikings will be back on the court on Friday, Sept. 2 at the Mt. SAC Quad Tournament against Mt. San Jacinto and College of the Desert.
