The Long Beach City College Vikings took down Mt. SAC (3-2) and Cerritos (3-1) last week in conference action. With the pair of wins, the Vikings rise to 15-2 overall and are 9-2 in the South Coast Conference.
In the Mt. SAC game, setter Enaya Vaielua and outside hitter Jordyn Hollins were the standouts on offense as they totaled over 10 kills each. Libero Kaylani Moncada tallied 26 digs, while defensive specialist Carmelina Infante and setter Enaya Vaielua had over 15 digs each.
At Cerritos, middle blocker Ryannah Gagau brought the hammer with 12 kills and had five block assists. Outside hitter Pearlnaiah Tuliau was all over the ball with 20 assists to help propel the Vikings to their 15th victory.
The Vikings volleyball team will return to the court with their next conference matchup against LA City College on Wednesday, October 25 at 6 p.m.
