Coach Noah Casaquit has been involved in the sport of volleyball for over 14 years. This will be his first year with the Lady Viking program.

During Casaquit’s playing years, he has received several awards of recognition. In his freshman year at Graceland University, Casaquit received All-MAMVIC honorable mention. After transferring to Hope International, in his junior year, Casaquit helped his team reach the NAIA semi-final match, receiving an all-tournament award as well as being named defensive player of the year. In his senior campaign (2010), Casaquit was recognized as defensive player of the year along with being named to the first-ever NAIA All-American team. That same year, Hope International University named Casaquit its Male Athlete of the Year.

Along with his successful playing accolades, Casaquit brings 14 years of coaching experience. Even when he was playing, he was coaching on the side. Casaquit’s college coaching experience include Graceland University women’s assistant (2007), Hope International University women’s and men’s assistant coach (2008-2011), and Cypress College women’s assistant coach (2011-2013). Casaquit recently served as head coach of the El Dorado High School boy’s volleyball program (2010-2014). He has also worked with teams representing Hawaii in the HP Championships.

Casaquit was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii. He earned his business management degree at Hope International in 2012. He then went on to receive his MS in physical education in 2014. Casaquit aims to inspire and educate for the rest of his life.
