Long Beach, Calif. - The Long Beach City College women's water polo team released its 2021 slate on Thursday.

The Vikings open the season on Friday, Sept. 10 at the two-day Orange Coast Invite before starting South Coast Conference play against Chaffey on Wednesday, Sept. 15 at 1:30 p.m. at the Los Alamitos Air Force Base.

September is rounded out with the Riverside Invite (Sept. 17-18) and Mt. SAC Invite (Sept. 24-25) with a couple of SCC matches mixed in at El Camino (Sept. 22) and East LA (Sept. 29).

In October, the Vikings head to the Cuesta Invite (Oct. 1-2) before three conference matchups at Rio Hondo (Oct. 6), at Cerritos (Oct. 13), and hosting Pasadena (Oct. 20). The team competes in the Battle at the Beach (Oct. 22-23) and then wraps up regular season competition at Mt. SAC on Wednesday, Oct. 27. 

The Vikings finished their 2019 campaign with a 23-6 overall record, and a perfect 10-0 mark in South Coast Conference competition, winning the conference outright with a 12-6 victory over Cerritos in the conference tournament finale. The team was edged in the SoCal Regional Playoffs, 11-10, by Citrus to end the season.
