Rachel Westphal scored four goals while Scout Bates added three to help lead the Long Beach City College women's water polo team to an 18-2 South Coast Conference win over El Camino College on Wednesday. The game was played at the Los Alamitos Joint Forces Base.

LBCC improved to 8-2 overall and 2-0 in conference play.

The Vikings were never challenged in the contest, holding the Warriors scoreless in the first quarter. Long Beach led 6-0 after the first break and was up 8-2 at halftime.

Nine different Vikings scored. Long Beach also got two goals from Sydney Brouwer, Kaya Barrett, Lisa Bautista, and Natalie Ramirez. Rochelle Beavers added a goal and three assists.

Haden Bates posted six saves in for the Vikings allowing just the two El Camino goals in the second quarter.

Long Beach returns to action on Friday (Sep. 24) when the Vikings will compete at the two-day Mt. San Antonio College Tournament in Walnut.
