The No. 5 Long Beach City College women's water polo team defeated the Chaffey College Panthers 21-2 on Wednesday afternoon. With the win, the Vikings are 8-3 overall and are undefeated in the South Coat Conference with a 3-0 record.

Sophomore attacker Sydney Brouwer went perfect during the game with a three-for-three shot ratio. She said, "We are playing well as a team, despite overcoming injuries."

Sophomore center Carlotta Zandali led the team with four goals and freshman attacker Sierra Cavano totaled four assists for the Vikings.

The women's water polo team will return to the pool deck on Friday, Sept. 30 at Cuesta College for the Cuesta Invitational.
