Women’s Cross Country: Ceballos qualifies for State Championships

Long Beach City College freshman Alexis Ceballos has earned a spot in the state championships thanks to her 81st-place finish at the Southern California Regional Championships in Van Nuys on Friday.

Long Beach City College freshman Alexis Ceballos (Port of Los Angeles HS) has earned a spot in the state championships thanks to her 81st-place finish at the Southern California Regional Championships in Van Nuys on Friday.

Ceballos, competing as an individual for LBCC, cleared the 5,000-meter course at Woodley Park with a time of 20.40.25.

She will make the trip north to Fresno for the CCCAA Cross Country State Championship at Woodward Park on November 22.
