Women’s Cross Country: Muldrow leads Long Beach at Fresno Invitational

Competing with just five runners, the Long Beach City College women's cross country team totaled 349 points to finish in 15th place out of 16 teams at the highly-competitive Fresno Invitational at Woodward Park on Friday.

Freshman Asia Muldrow (Frederick K.C. Price III Christian) led LBCC with her 62nd-place finish. She cleared the 5,000-meter course with a time of 21:35.0. Not far behind in 68th place was freshman Kimberly Munoz (John Glenn HS) at 21:42.6.

Sonnaca Luckey (Gahr HS), 76th, 21:58.3
Malika Spencer (Westchester HS), 100th, 22:59.2
Katherine Lopez (Warren HS), 125th, 25:28.2

Glendale College won the team title with 60 points while American River College's Jenica Dodge was the top individual with a time of 18:22.8.

Long Beach returns to action next Friday (Sept. 18) when it will compete at the SoCal Preview Meet at Mission Bay Park in San Diego.
