Women’s Cross Country: Vikings finish 13th at 68th annual Mt. SAC Relays

Freshman Asia Muldrow ran 19:59 to finish in 29th place overall to lead the Long Beach City College women's cross country team at the 68th annual Mt. SAC Relays on Friday. The Vikings totaled 325 points to finish in 13th place out of 18 teams.

Muldrow has been the Vikings' top finisher in four of five meets this season. She was followed by sophomore Sonnaca Luckey (Gahr HS) in 49th place. She cleared the three-mile Mt. San Antonio College course with a time of 20:41.

Southwestern College's Aminat Olowora ran a course-record 16:14 to finish in first place overall while College of the Canyons totaled 36 points to take the women's team title.

The Mt. SAC Relays served as the final tune up of the regular season before LBCC next competes at the South Coast Conference Championships. The SCC Finals are set for October 30 in Palos Verdes Estates. The women's three-mile race is set to begin at 2:15 p.m.
