Long Beach City College sophomore Sean Williams (Wilson HS) delivered his second straight walk-off hit at home as the Vikings rallied late for a 5-4 win over Los Angeles Harbor College at home on Thursday.

Long Beach City College freshman Tony Monroy smacked a two-out, two-run single to break a 1-1 tie in the seventh inning while freshman Daniel Rocha (pictured) allowed one run over eight innings in a 3-1 South Coast Conference win over visiting El Camino College Compton Center on Tuesday.

Sophomore starting pitcher Tai Tiedemann (pictured) allowed one earned run over eight innings while sophomore Jackson Foss and freshman Tony Monroy both had perfect days at the plate to lead Long Beach City College to a 6-2 win at Pasadena City College on Saturday.

Long Beach City College will look to win its third consecutive South Coast Conference championship this season and the Vikings got off to a good start with an 8-5 win at Pasadena City College in both teams’ SCC opener on Tuesday. LBCC won its third straight to improve to 9-6 overall and 1-0 in conference play.

Long Beach City College closed out the week with a two-game sweep of the Antelope Valley College Marauders. On Tuesday, the Vikings cruised to a 7-1 win at home and picked up a 5-2 victory on the road in Lancaster on Thursday to improve to 8-6 overall.

Long Beach City College Baseball head coach Casey Crook is just one win away from becoming the college's all-time career leader as he is tied with LBCC legend Joe Hicks at 513 thanks to today's 13-1 Vikings' victory over visiting Los Angeles Mission College at Joe Hicks Memorial Field.
