Bio
Went to UC Irvine his first year of college, but did not play. Played at Artesia High School for coaches Rudy Magallon and Eric Leon where he was a four-year varsity player, All-CIF first-team member and a Press-Telegram Dream Team first-team selection his senior year, as well as participant in 2014 Senior All-Star Showcase. Named team's Offensive Player of the Year and was Artesia’s overall Athlete of the Year. Played two years on football team and received all-league honors. Received the Grand Prize for City of Hawaiian Gardens Youth Walk of Achievement for Athletics and 2014 Lakewood Youth Hall of Fame Distinguished Nominee. Was a starter on Hawaiian Garden Eagles coached by Guillermo Arzate that won Cal South National Cup and participated in regionals in 2014.

The Long Beach City College men’s soccer team recently celebrated its 2015 South Coast Conference championship season by recognizing its team and individual accomplishments at its annual awards banquet.

After capturing a South Coast Conference championship for the first time since 2006, the Long Beach City College men’s soccer team was honored with 11 All-SCC postseason awards.

Freshman Mario Ballesteros scored twice and freshman Ari Claro added a goal to help lead the Long Beach City College men's soccer team to a 3-1 South Coast Conference win over visiting El Camino College on Tuesday.

The Long Beach City College men’s soccer team couldn’t hold an early lead and fell 2-1 at El Camino College Compton Center on Friday. The South Coast Conference loss was the Vikings’ third straight and dropped LBCC to 4-4-1 overall and 0-2-0 in SCC play.
