The No. 1-ranked Long Beach City College women's volleyball team (21-1) is set to host No. 16 Bakersfield College (17-10) in the second round of the SoCal Regional Playoffs.
Bakersfield earned their spot in this matchup with a hard-fought 3-1 victory over MiraCosta College last Saturday, while the Vikings advanced directly to the second round after receiving a first-round bye.

The stakes are high in this second-round showdown, with the winner advancing to the third round of the SoCal Regionals. From there, the ultimate goal is the 3C2A State Championships, scheduled for December 6-8 at Mt. San Antonio College.
Tickets for this exciting postseason clash are $12 for general admission and $8 for students, faculty, staff, senior citizens (60+), and children under 12. Tickets can be purchased conveniently through the Hometown Ticketing app.
