The Long Beach City College swim & dive team competed at Pasadena last Friday against Pasadena and Rio Hondo College in their third South Coast Conference meet.

The Long Beach City College Women’s Swimming & Diving team went 1-1 on Friday at the Cerritos College South Coast Conference three-way meet as the Vikings beat Los Angeles Trade-Tech College 166-49 but lost 174-100 to host Cerritos in dual scoring.
The Long Beach City College women’s swimming & diving team suffered a pair of South Coast Conference losses on Friday at Pasadena City College to open the 2016 dual meet schedule. Host Pasadena beat the Vikings 137-89 while East Los Angeles College defeated LBCC 141-106.
The Long Beach City College women's swimming and diving team totaled 341 points to finish in sixth place at the 2015 South Coast Conference Championships. The three-day event was held on April 16-18 at East Los Angeles College in Monterey Park.
Thanks to freshman Nicki DeVries, the LBCC women’s swimming & diving team already has a lead heading into this weekend’s South Coast Conference Championships. Sophomore Christine MacLennan (pictured) compiled three top-15 finishes while sophomore Jackie Rojas had two top-10 showings to lead Long Beach City College to a 20th place finish this past weekend (Apr. 25-27) at the 2013 California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA) Swimming & Diving Championship at East Los Angeles College.
