Long Beach City College needed just 56 minutes to earn a 25-16, 25-10, 25-10 sweep of visiting Los Angeles Trade-Tech College on Wednesday. The Western State Conference victory extended the Vikings’ winning streak to 13 matches and improved LBCC to 13-2 overall and 6-0 in the WSC.

Long Beach City College pushed its winning streak to eight matches thanks to its 3-1 win at Santa Barbara City College on Wednesday in both teams’ Western State Conference opener. LBCC dropped the first set 18-25 before surging to 25-17, 26-24, and 25-19 victories to pull out the match win.

Long Beach City College extended its winning streak to seven matches thanks to a 25-22, 25-16, 25-12 victory at San Diego City College on Friday night. The non-conference win improved the Vikings to 7-2 overall.
