In its final match of the 2015 season, the Long Beach City College women's volleyball team went out on a winning note by cruising to a sweep of Los Angeles Harbor College on Wednesday night at LBCC.

The Long Beach City College women's volleyball team picked up its second win out of three matches as the Vikings earned a marathon 3-2 victory over visiting East Los Angeles College on Friday night at LBCC. Freshman Mary Delgado (pictured) had 35 assists and 14 digs in the win.

The 25-16, 25-14, 25-6 victory snapped a three-match losing streak and improved the Vikings to 4-13 overall and 2-5 in South Coast Conference play.

Looking to score its biggest upset of the season, the Long Beach City College women's volleyball team came up just short in falling to No. 19 state-ranked Pasadena City College 3-2 on Friday at LBCC. Long Beach lost the South Coast Conference match by scores of 27-25, 25-14, 22-25, 21-25, and 15-3 to fall to 3-12 overall and 1-4 in the SCC.

Coming off a win on Friday, the Long Beach City College women’s volleyball couldn’t keep that momentum going as the Vikings suffered a 3-0 loss at No. 6 state-ranked El Camino College on Wednesday. LBCC lost the South Coast Conference match by scores of 25-16, 25-10, and 25-22 to fall to 3-11 overall and 1-3 in the SCC.
