Kenny Booker (Basketball, 1967-68): Booker was a two-year standout for the Vikings, earning All-Metropolitan Conference honors in 1967 and 1968, and helped lead the Vikings to a conference title in 1967. Following LBCC, he went on to play two seasons at UCLA (1970-71), winning national championships both years. In 1971, he was drafted by the Phoenix Suns. Booker got into coaching in 1973 and led Verbum Dei High School to a CIF Championship. He returned to the court as a player in 1975 and played two seasons professionally in Europe. Booker was a high school basketball official for 27 years and in 2005 officiated international contests in Japan.
