Margaret Graves-Bos (Volleyball/Basketball, 1978-80): Graves-Bos twice earned All-Metropolitan Conference honors in volleyball (1978-79) and was named the conference player of the year in 1979. She was also a two-year all-conference selection in basketball (1979-80). On all four teams, Graves-Bos served as team captain and was named the Most Inspirational Player. Following LBCC, she played one season of volleyball (1980) and basketball (1981) at Cal State Dominguez Hills before transferring for her senior season at Long Beach State. In 1981, Graves-Bos was team captain and MVP for LBSU. Following her playing career, she served as head coach of the women’s volleyball team at LBCC for two seasons and was an assistant coach for 15 years (1982-2002).
