Pam Marshall (Track and Field, 1980): Marshall was a standout for the Vikings in 1980 before achieving international success during the mid 1980s. At LBCC in 1980, Marshall set the school and state record in the 200 meters. In 1985, she became just the third American woman to run the 400 in under 50 seconds. In 1987, she was a member of the United States’ gold medal winning 4x100-meter relay team at the World Championships. She won the 200 meter championship at the 1986 Goodwill Games and was a member of the USA Olympic Team at the 1988 Seoul games.
