2013 LBCC Men's Cross Country News

Freshman Elias Galvan (pictured) ran 23:49 to finish in 61st place and lead the LBCC men's cross country team to a seventh-place showing at the South Coast Conference Championships hosted by LBCC at Heartwell Park in Long Beach.

The LBCC men's cross country team saw its toughest competition of the season on Friday and finished in 29th place at the Southern California Preview meet at Santa Clarita's Central Park. Sophomore Jerry Toliver led the Vikings at 24:18.35.

New LBCC men's cross country head coach Julio Jimenez and his squad made their debut on Friday as the Vikings totaled 217 points to finish in eighth place out of nine teams at the Rio Hondo Invitational at Whittier Narrows in South El Monte.
