Dan Gausepohl (Baseball, 1976-77): Gausepohl was a first-team All-Metropolitan Conference selection for LBCC as a sophomore in 1977 before heading to Westwood and UCLA. As a senior in 1979, Gausepohl earned first-team All-Pacific 10 Conference honors as he set single-season UCLA records in doubles and runs scored. After college, he spent four years playing professionally in the San Diego Padres organization. In 1980, he was named the Reno Silver Sox (A) team most valuable player.
