Cassie Zebisch (Water Polo, 2001-02): Zebisch became LBCC’s first-ever two-time All-American in women’s water polo. She was also twice named South Coast Conference most valuable player and was a two-time All-State Tournament and All-Southern California selection. In 2002, she was named Southern California MVP on her way to leading the Vikings to a state championship runner up finish. She also led LBCC to its first two conference titles in 2001 and 2002. Zebisch was also a two-year member of the LBCC swim team. Following LBCC, she transferred to San Diego State University (2005-06) and was a scholar-athlete and team captain. Zebisch returned to Long Beach to serve as an assistant coach for the Vikings.
