The impressive 2015-16 season for the Long Beach City College women's basketball team will extend to the postseason as the Vikings were named the No. 4 seed for the upcoming Southern California Regional Playoffs. The Long Beach City College women’s basketball team extended its winning streak to seven games after going 3-0 over the weekend to capture the Irvine Valley College Tournament championship. The Long Beach City College women’s basketball team continued its promising start to the 2015-16 season as the Vikings went 3-0 and defeated host Pasadena City College on Sunday 62-57 in the championship final of the 2nd Honda of Pasadena Classic.
