Dee Andrews, a running back and safety on the 1960 national championship Junior Rose Bowl team and was named an All-American at both positions. He would also capture conference and state championships in five different track and field events and held school records in the long jump, high hurdles and low hurdles. Andrews would post the fastest 330-meter intermediate hurdle time in the world in 1964 at 36.5 seconds.
