Ron Crawford, twice named the Southern California Most Valuable Player while competing in water polo during the 1957 and 1958 seasons. He would eventually be chosen for three Olympic teams and twice represented his country at the Pan American Games. Crawford is a member of the U.S. and International Water Polo Hall of Fame, as well as the California State University, Long Beach Hall of Fame.
