Gary Garrison, a wide receiver and safety for the 1961 and 1962 (national champion) Viking football teams. He transferred to San Diego State and earned Little All-American honors in 1964 and 1965. After his senior year, he played in the East-West Shrine Game, the Senior Bowl and the College All-Star Game, the first Aztec ever chosen. Garrison played 12 seasons of pro football, 11 with the San Diego Chargers. He has been enshrined in the San Diego State and San Diego Chargers halls of fame.
