Patty Gasso, head softball coach for the Vikings from 1990-94. Her LBCC record was 161-59-1 with four conference and two regional titles. Gasso was named California Coach of the Year and the National Fastpitch Coaches Association West Regional Coach of the Year in 1992. After five seasons she accepted the head coaching post at the University of Oklahoma, where she led the Sooners to the 2000 NCAA championship and a current streak of four consecutive College World Series berths.
