Chuck Terry, twice named Metropolitan Conference and California Player of the Year in basketball (1969-70) and was a recipient of the Viking Service Award. He transferred to Long Beach State, earning first team All-Pacific Coast Athletic Association honors in each of his two seasons. Drafted by the Milwaukee Bucks, Terry also played professionally for the San Antonio Spurs and the 1976 American Basketball Association champion New York Nets.
