Baseball: Vikings swept from SoCal Regionals with 3-0 loss to Bakersfield, end season at 24-14

Long Beach City College saw a promising 2016 season come to an end with a 3-0 loss to the No. 9-seeded Bakersfield College Renegades on Saturday in Game 2 of the Southern California Regional playoffs.

Baseball: Vikings drop opening game of SoCal Regionals 5-2 to Bakersfield

The Long Beach City College Vikings will need to have a short memory after they suffered a 5-2 loss to the No. 9-seeded Bakersfield College Renegades in Game 1 of the Southern California Regional playoffs.

Long Beach returns to the playoffs for the third straight season.
Baseball: SCC champion Vikings get No. 8 seed, host No. 9 Bakersfield in SoCal Playoff series

The 2016 South Coast Conference champion Long Beach City College Vikings have received the No. 8 seed and will host the No. 9-seeded Bakersfield College Renegades in a best-of-three opening-round series of the Southern California Regional Playoffs.

LBCC won its third straight South Coast Conference championship.
Baseball: Vikings wrap up third straight conference title with 7-4 win at El Camino

The Long Beach City College Vikings are champions of the South Coast Conference for the third straight season as LBCC secured the outright title with a 7-4 win at El Camino College on Friday. Long Beach closed out the regular season with a 24-12 overall record and 16-5 mark in SCC play.

Baseball: Vikings complete sweep of L.A. Harbor, tied for first with three games to play

Long Beach City College won its fourth straight game, including a 7-3 South Coast Conference victory at Los Angeles Harbor College on Saturday to wrap up a three-game sweep of the Seahawks. Long Beach currently sits tied for first place in the SCC with Cerritos College at 14-4 with just three games left to play in the regular season.

Baseball: Vikings keep pace in SCC with 5-4 walk-off win over L.A. Harbor

Long Beach City College moved back into first place in the South Coast Conference standings thanks to its 9-3 win at Los Angeles Harbor College on Tuesday in an opening-game of a three-game series.

Baseball: Vikings open crucial conference series with 7-5 loss to Cerritos

For the second time in three games, Long Beach City College couldn't hold a late lead and dropped a 7-5 South Coast Conference game to visiting Cerritos College on Tuesday at Joe Hicks Memorial Field.

Baseball: Ninth-inning collapse sinks Vikings, fall 8-3 to East Los Angeles

Long Beach City College dominated its South Coast Conference game against East Los Angeles College on Friday for eight innings. But LBCC couldn’t finish off the contest as the Huskies rallied for seven runs in the top of the ninth to defeat the Vikings 8-3 at Joe Hicks Memorial Field.

The 2006 LBCC Baseball team won a school-record 41 games on its way to a state championship.

Long Beach City College Baseball will honor its 2006 state championship team before its game on Saturday, April 16 against rival Cerritos College to mark the 10-year anniversary of its record-setting season.
